Audiovisual artist / electronic music composer from Tirana, Albania (born: September 1984) active in the field of drone / abstract / ambient music.

Lluka's works are surrealistic depictions of daily-life moments through psychological/emotional associations with memory and its relation with the present, in an overall dreamlike mood. His technical approach comes mainly through custom software tailored for each release combining field recordings, electronic sounds, acoustic instruments (cello, double bass, piano, etc, often heavily distorted), and poetry. Iliri's music has been described as deep and atmospheric; mental journeys in undefined locations.

While his academic studies were developed outside of arts (majored in political sciences and international relations), Lluka studied on his own the techniques of sound design and synthesis at their academic and practical level. He is also the author of several software synthesizers and effects, some of which are available for public use in the "Software" section.

Besides the albums/EPs, Ilir has also composed music for installations and experimental cinema and has performed live in art galleries and cultural spaces in Tirana such as The National History Museum, etc, as well as in international sound art festivals such as Poesia Carnosa Festival (Rome), MainOFF Festival (Palermo), Kinisi Festival (Santorini), To Be Continued Festival (2013, 2016 and 2018 edition),  Niños Consentidos Wien Festival (Vienna), etc.  His audiovisual works have been presented in international exhibitions such as in “Remembering in Form” audiovisual exhibition at Heike Strelow Gallery (Frankfurt, July-August 2016), “Muslim Mulliqi Prize 2016” exhibition at the National Gallery of Arts of Kosovo (Prishtina, July-August 2016), "Mediterranea 18: Young Artists Biennale" (Tirana, 4-28 May 2017). "Onufri XXII" at the National Gallery of Arts of Albania (Tirana, December 2016-February 2017) in which Ilir Lluka won the 1st prize.
