"Liquid Music"
[a live performance at Kinisi Festival, Santorini]
Live audiovisual performance at Catharos Lounge at Kinisi Festival,
located oin the island of Santorini, Greece on 17 July 2015.

The key technical elements were the underwater speakers from which the frequencies could be heard only if you dived in the sea, while normal speakers were placed in the beach area followed by the speakers along the hillside and into the venue up the hill (Catharos Lounge), where the artists were performing facing the seaside under the slow fading rays of the sun.
This made it possible for the music to be listened to by the people at the venue in front of the performers, as well as the people at the beach,
and those swimming in the sea, while everyone could interact with the music by continuing their daily agenda. So even though the heart of the festival was located in a small venue facing the sea, the event was extended to the whole area, gathering people from all around the place, each one interacting with the event in their personal way.

MONOLITH PRISM
by Ermela Teli & Ilir Lluka
Directed by Ermela Teli
Music, Live performance: Ilir Lluka

Originally planned as a live performance for a casual public of passers-by
at 6:00 AM,we set up the sound system at the sidewalk, near the intersection at "Nentekateshet", under the ruins of what is now a high-rise with a "Mon Cheri" cafè at the street floor where the performance was held. The music was a free improvisation, which in accordance with the location, had an industrial electronic nature. Since we had no permits from the Municipality of Tirana, everything was done guerrila-style, but after about 30 minutes, the Municipal Police showed up and we had to wrap it up as they were threatening to break my laptop and MIDI controllers. Ermela then managed to shoot some raw complementary footage, first near the "Pazari i Ri", then faraway in the deep suburbs. After the editing was finished (by Xhulio Hajdari), we came to realize the video-art nature of the project, instead of it being a documentation of a live music performance.
It was presented at the Black Box Theater at the Academy of Arts of Tirana, on February 2013.
